About This Event
The Brookhaven Run has something for everyone in the family. Race against the fastest runners in the state in the 5,000 meter run or jog the one mile fun run. The Kids Under 12 Races are as much fun to watch as they are for the kids to run and it's free.

Brookhaven Village Shopping Center in Norman, Oklahoma
36th Ave. NW and Robinson
Directions: Take the Robinson Street from I-35 in Norman and go west approximately 1/2 mile to the Brookhaven Village Shopping Center. There is plenty of free parking available.

Kids Under 12 Races
A run for children under 12 will begin at 9:00 a.m. Ages 10-11 will run 400 meters, 6-9 200 meters and 5 and under will dash 50 meters. There is no charge for these events.
After the Race
There will be plenty of fruit, bagels, and other refreshments available for the participants, and awards will be given to the 5km runners in the standard 5-year age groups. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top five 5km male and female runners and the top two 5km male and female masters. Special divisions are created for high school age runners. In addition to the awards, numerous door prizes will be given away throughout the awards ceremony (must be present to win).
